Weekly Workouts

Tuesday Mornings 6:15am and Tuesday Nights at 7 p.m. at Washington-Lee H.S. Track-Interval Workout
We will meet at 6:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday's to do our 'prescribed by George' workout. Any changes to the run will be posted to the calendar and Capital Area Runners will be notified by email as well. Otherwise, see you there!

New! Wednesday Mornings 5:45am at South Riding Freedom H.S. Track-Interval Workout
We will meet at 6:00 a.m. Wednesday's to do our 'prescribed by George' workout. Please email coach George if you are interested in this option! Any changes to the run will be posted to the calendar and Capital Area Runners will be notified by email as well. Otherwise, see you there!

Thursday Night 7 p.m. and Friday Mornings 6:30 a.m. at Washington-Lee H.S. Track- Tempo Runs
We will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday Evenings and 6:30 a.m. on Friday mornings (wake up sleepy-head) to do our tempo runs. Any changes to the run will be posted to the calendar and Capital Area Runners will be notified by e-mail as well. Otherwise, see you there!

Saturday and Sunday Long Runs
Open to all members of Capital Area Runners, Sunday Runs are from Fletcher's Boathouse, while Saturday runs leave from Roosevelt Island. During Marathon Season, long runs will feature hydration/gel stops! Time is seasonal, usually 7a.m. in the summer and 9 a.m. during the winter. Time and location will be posted to the calendar and Capital Area Runners will be notified by e-mail as well.
