Weekly Workouts

Tuesday Mornings 6:15am and Tuesday Nights at 7 p.m. at Washington-Lee H.S. Track-Interval Workout
We will meet at 6:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday's to do our 'prescribed by George' workout. Any changes to the run will be posted to the calendar and Capital Area Runners will be notified by email as well. Otherwise, see you there!
Thursday Night 7 p.m. and Friday Mornings 6:15 a.m. at Washington-Lee H.S. Track- Tempo Runs
We will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday Evenings and 6:15 a.m. on Friday mornings to do our tempo runs. Any changes to the run will be posted to the calendar and Capital Area Runners will be notified in the weekly newsletter, as well. Otherwise, see you there!
Hills, Hills Hills!
Once every season, we switch out one of the track workouts and hit Iwo Jima for some hill repeats, check the calendar or newsletter for dates for these fun workouts!
Saturday and Sunday Long Runs
Open to all members of Capital Area Runners, Saturday and Sunday Runs are from either Fletcher's Boathouse, or Roosevelt Island. During Marathon Season, long runs will feature hydration/gel stops! Time is seasonal, usually 7a.m. in the summer and 9 a.m. during the winter. Time and location will be posted to the calendar and Capital Area Runners will be notified in the weekly newsletter, as well.
